OUR PROGRAM

TRAINING ATHLETES TO BE STRONG
MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY

ACADEMICS

These four areas listed below help our trainers, coaches and partners at P3 Sports to develop and train athletes who are strong not only physically, but also mentally. Our Hockey Academy prides itself on being influential leaders for up and coming hockey players.

Furthermore, we believe in helping all our athletes build leadership and public speaking skills. Not only will our students upgrade and fine-tune their athletic skills, but they’ll also learn the fundamentals of nutrition, sports psychology. They will also learn how to strength train and condition in a healthy manner.

P3 Sports Hockey Academy has partnered with I Got Mind Inc. and Vector Life Coaching to provide Mental Health and Mental Performance Coaching and support for all of our student athletes. In today’s society the pressures on students and athletes through this stage of their life are greater than ever before. With the support of these two great resources, we are committed to providing the tools and resources necessary to stay on top of the mental health of our student athletes an to offer continued support wherever and whenever necessary.

DAY TO DAY

A Look Into The Life

Student-athletes will participate in classes throughout the morning and travel to the ice rink after class. Players will be on the bus by 11:30AM daily and heading to the P3 Training Centre for their ice times, classroom session and workout. They will be working at their skills with position specific training or small group sessions with the P3 Player Development coaches as well as with their full teams and team coaches doing skills and tactical training.

Our players will start their day early, with core high school classes offered in a customized curriculum to offer a shorter morning class in order to accommodate their educational needs in the half-day format. This class runs all year as opposed to the typical half-year class. They have three “regular” class times, followed by another custom class to end their school day.
